Boston Celtics fans hope to bring the team back to life during Game 3 of the NBA Finals at TD Garden. “I think they’re going to have more energy at home, where it’s their stadium. They have more people, more fans (in the building),” said Hayden Cullimore, a Utah Celtics fan. With all the cheering, Celtics fans will likely work up an appetite at the TD Garden, so the venue gives them a chance to eat green. Five-patty burgers, stuffed waffle fries, and sundaes are among the green-hued foods on offer throughout the arena. Meanwhile, Premium customers and VIPs at 1928 Club will be treated to additional menu items such as lobster rolls and specialty cocktails. “It’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for some of the guests and we hope our dining experience will match that,” said Jason Gorman, executive chef, 1928 Club is the “Ultimate Championship Cheesesteak” with Japanese Kobe beef, lobster and truffle. This cheesesteak on a green supporting roll costs “a memorable $150,” according to Gorman. Game 3 of the NBA Finals between the Celtics and the Golden State Warriors is scheduled for Wednesday at 9 p.m. Game 4, also played at TD Garden, is scheduled for Friday at 9pm.
