Time for a nap: The holiday was a chance for the Rooneys to get away from it all after several days of visiting the High Court together
Coleen and Wayne had spent seven days in London’s High Court as she refuted claims she had libeled Rebekah, the wife of Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy.
The mother-of-four had accused Rebekah, 40, of leaking stories about her family to The Sun after embroiling her in an infamous “stabbing operation” on Instagram.
The couple were also seen eating al fresco, sipping drinks and applying sunscreen to sons Kai, 12, Klay, 9, Kit and Cass to protect them from the harsh rays.
Coleen’s parents Tony and Colette McLoughlin were also seen playing in the pool with their grandchildren.
Another guest at the hotel said: “It was fantastic to see them enjoying a well deserved rest after being in the spotlight at the High Court.
Date night: The Rooneys are said to have paid around £1,300 a night for one of the hotel’s private villas near the beach. The villas include the services of a butler
What a night! After sharing her vacation snaps, Coleen also posted a snap with singer Ed Sheera (third from right). She wrote: ‘Ed ❤️……amazing as always x’
‘Coleen seemed completely at ease and seemed happy to be having some quality time with her family away from it all. You and Wayne are just down to earth people.
‘They didn’t put on any airs and spent a few relaxing days, enjoying the sun and the beautiful surroundings of the hotel.’

Coleen famously revealed in October 2019 how she placed fake stories on her personal Instagram account and changed her settings so that the posts could only be seen by Rebekah’s account.
Each of the fake stories then found their way into The Sun newspaper, leading Coleen to believe Rebekah’s account was the source of the leaks.
Coleen had claimed her actions were a “last resort” after concluding that someone had leaked information about her to The Sun.
She defended herself in court against the defamation lawsuits by insisting that her allegations against Rebekah were true.
Rebekah, in turn, claimed that Coleen’s post, which was published while she was pregnant, cost her a book deal and a placental capsule recommendation, while also acting as a lightning rod for people who berated her on social media.
